This summer, join Raleigh Burlesque for a limited edition of our signature four-week beginner intensive, the Shimmy Seminar – designed for brand-new performers or anyone ready to build confidence, polish fundamentals, and fall in love with burlesque. What makes this session special? You’ll still get all the core training from our classic seminar—plus TRIPLE the mentorship! Each week, you’ll train with Rachel Riot and a rotating lineup of seasoned guest instructors, offering fresh perspectives, expanded skillsets, and creative inspiration: Week 1 (June 21): Dress Ta Kill Week 2 (June 28): Dahlia Vee Week 3 (July 12): Marley Minx Week 4 (July 19): Cherry von Bomb You’ll also receive: 💃 A one-hour private choreography coaching session with Cherry Cha Cha (outside of class) 🎓 A certificate of completion and an invite to perform in our student showcase (optional but encouraged!) Class Time: Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Dates: June 21, June 28, July 12, July 19 (four non-consecutive Saturdays) Location: Cell Block Number 9 – Rachel Riot’s home studio near NCSU (address provided upon registration) Payment: $250 – payment plans available Deposit Policy: A $125 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. This deposit locks you into your session dates. If you need to switch to a different session, a new deposit will be required. Why sign up now?
