Join visiting performer and educator Salem Sirene for Self Love Seduction, a one-hour, all-welcome class centered on self-love, seduction, and sensory exploration. This burlesque-adjacent workshop explores how to move with hunger, presence, confidence, and pleasure—putting yourself at the center of the experience without apology. Through guided movement and exploration, Salem will encourage you to connect with your body, your senses, and your own unique expression of sensuality. You do not need to be a burlesque performer—or have any dance or movement experience—to participate. Come as you are and prepare to explore what feels seductive to you. Please bring a folding chair, water, and snacks. About Salem Sirene Known as the “Spellbinding Bitch of Burlesque,” Salem Sirene describes herself as the queer love child of Morticia Addams and Kesha, a part-time pizza enthusiast, and a full-time feminist nightmare. A fierce champion of fat vanity and the power of the moon, Salem blends natural elegance with intense stage presence to create a seductive experience all her own. Salem is the winner of the 2016 “Hairography Master” award and the 2018 “Virgo” Award for excellence in coherence at the Discordia Days Burlesque Festival. She headlined The Chrysler Museum of Art’s 2019 Art Out Loud Exposed series opener and brings her experience offstage as both an educator and producer. Salem teaches classic burlesque at The Academy of Tease and is one half of the production duo behind Nocte Covina Burlesque. Come spend an hour exploring self-love, sensuality, and seduction with a performer who knows that the first person worth captivating is yourself.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule please contact us at least 24 hours before the first class. Minimums & Maximums: Each class has a required minimum and maximum number of students. Minimums are set to ensure instructors are fairly compensated. If a class does not meet minimum enrollment, it may be canceled and all registered students will be notified. No-Shows: Students who do not attend class (no-shows) forfeit their payment. Payments are not refunded or credited. Refunds: We do not provide refunds for any reason. Transfers: Transfers may be offered only with a valid doctor’s note. Without proper documentation, transfers are not permitted. Final Note: Please treat your registration as a commitment to yourself, your classmates, and your instructors. No refunds, no exceptions.
