At the heart of that revolution were Riot Grrrl zines — glitter-strewn, handwritten, and wild as hell — spreading feminist fire and creative anarchy one page at a time. Now, you get to join the riot. Make your own handmade zine with special guest Edie Sativa and headmistress Rachel Riot — the Riot Grrrl zine queen whose iconic zines from the late ’90s and early 2000s glow in NYC and Salt Lake City zine libraries. They’ll share stories, history, and crafty tips to spark your punk spirit. We bring the scissors, glue, and glitter — you bring your sass, sparkle, and rebellious voice. Write, draw, collage, or scream your truth on paper and help keep the DIY spirit alive. Let’s fuse punk, paper, and burlesque into a glitter bomb of radical self-expression!
