Whether you’re a burlesque or drag performer, a stage kitten, or a producer, this hands-on workshop is your crash course in working with flames responsibly and confidently. Led by fire performance veteran Lady Gatita (the Nerdmama of Nerdvana, with 17+ years of experience), this 2.5-hour class covers: Fire performance types, tools, and fuels Fuel dump setup and safety zones Fire-safe costuming & essential safety gear What it takes to be a good fire safety for others Laws, insurance, and real-world do’s & don’ts You’ll also get the chance to fuel, light, and extinguish a fire prop—with guidance and supervision. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and respect for the flame!
