Through discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, you'll learn how to connect with an audience, maintain a show's momentum, think on your feet when the unexpected happens, and create memorable experiences for both performers and guests. Open to all experience levels. No prior emceeing experience is required. About the Instructor Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Velma Dearwood has spent more than ten years performing in drag and the past five years emceeing burlesque, drag, and fetish events throughout the Southeast.
